The Institute for Nonprofit Administration & Research - LSUS The Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research is a nonprofit education and research unit at Louisiana State University Shreveport.

The Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research (INAR) is a division of the College of Arts and Science at LSU-Shreveport. We offer nonprofit education through the Masters in Nonprofit Administration accredited by the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council. Our research services include a wide variety of program evaluations and survey research. The Institute also provides research and analysis for local, state, and regional businesses and nonprofit agencies.

🌟 The future of philanthropy is bright!

Last week, Dr. Heather Carpenter led the Youth Philanthropy and Community Leadership Summer Camp through INAR’s partnership with LSU Shreveport Continuing Education.

Students explored philanthropy, volunteerism, nonprofit careers, and community leadership while creating projects focused on issues they care about, including the environment, healthcare, maternal health, safe housing, and healthy eating.

💡 These young leaders reminded us that age is no barrier to making a difference.

Join us Monday, June 15 at 6:30 PM as Dr. Heather Carpenter, Executive Director of INAR, interviews Monica Wright, Executive Director of the Caddo Council on Aging. 💜

A Minden native and Louisiana Tech graduate, Monica has dedicated her career to serving older adults in Caddo Parish. Since joining the Council on Aging in 2000 and becoming Executive Director in 2017, she has worked alongside her team to provide vital services, advocacy, and resources for seniors in our community. 👏
