We were excited to host the Montcalm County Playgroup for their summer celebration on MCC’s Sidney campus today! ☀️

While they’ve been meeting regularly on our Greenville campus, it was wonderful to welcome them to our main campus and be part of today’s fun.

Children ages birth through 4 and their families enjoyed several summer themed activities, singing, reading, enjoying lunch and playing in MCC's pool!

We are proud to partner with Great Start Montcalm County, MAISD Early On, and Eightcap, Inc. for this wonderful community opportunity. To learn more about Montcalm County Playgroups, follow the pages linked above or call 616-225-6146.

Please join us on Friday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a Lifelong Learners presentation - Heritage Hill & Frank Lloyd Wright.

Discover how one visionary mind left a lasting mark on an entire neighborhood! While small in stature, Frank Lloyd Wright is big in legend. His contribution to architecture is so big, in fact, that he created a style that became the basis of 20th century residential design in the United States.

Join us for an engaging presentation on Frank Lloyd Wright and his surprising connection to Heritage Hill Historic District in Grand Rapids. Though best known for revolutionizing modern residential design, Wright’s influence can also be found woven into the charm of this predominantly Victorian-era community.

Through fascinating stories and local insights, Caroline will explore Wright’s legacy — from a home officially attributed to him, to others inspired by his unmistakable style. You’ll gain a fresh appreciation for how great design ideas travel, evolve, and quietly shape the places we live.

The cost is $5 and may be paid in cash at the door. This program will be held in room G129 in the Ash TLC Building on the Greenville Campus.

The Ride: Paul Revere and the Night That Saved America, by Kostya Kennedy, is the book everyone will be reading as the 2026 One Book One County Montcalm (OBOC) selection.

Timed to coincide with the 250th anniversary of America’s founding, The Ride offers a fresh look at the story of Paul Revere and his legendary midnight ride. Drawing on new research, author Kostya Kennedy uncovers lesser-known details behind the events of April 18-19, 1775, when Revere and a network of fellow riders warned colonists of advancing British troops.
