Please join us on Friday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a Lifelong Learners presentation - Heritage Hill & Frank Lloyd Wright.
Discover how one visionary mind left a lasting mark on an entire neighborhood! While small in stature, Frank Lloyd Wright is big in legend. His contribution to architecture is so big, in fact, that he created a style that became the basis of 20th century residential design in the United States.
Join us for an engaging presentation on Frank Lloyd Wright and his surprising connection to Heritage Hill Historic District in Grand Rapids. Though best known for revolutionizing modern residential design, Wright’s influence can also be found woven into the charm of this predominantly Victorian-era community.
Through fascinating stories and local insights, Caroline will explore Wright’s legacy — from a home officially attributed to him, to others inspired by his unmistakable style. You’ll gain a fresh appreciation for how great design ideas travel, evolve, and quietly shape the places we live.
The cost is $5 and may be paid in cash at the door. This program will be held in room G129 in the Ash TLC Building on the Greenville Campus.
