We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our upcoming summer camp a fun and memorable experience for everyone!

Check out the schedule for the 2026 Keokuk County Expo Fair happening from July 11th - July 19th at the Keokuk County Expo Fairgrounds in Sigourney! Come on out and support our 4-H & FFA members all week long, while enjoying entertainment and good food!

If you would like an 11"x17" schedule hung up at your business, please let us know and we can bring one to you! Schedules will be available at the Keokuk County Extension Office as well!

Thank you to Fritchen Cattle and Upah Cattle Company for sharing their time and expertise with our youth at the Keokuk County Expo Beef Workshop!

Exhibitors learned about feeding, daily care and grooming, show box essentials, showmanship tips, and techniques to help them safely handle their animals in and out of the show ring.

We appreciate their willingness to invest in our youth and help them grow their skills and confidence with their beef projects!

In May the Keokuk County Master Gardeners gathered at the Butterfly Garden on the northwest corner of Sigourney Elementary School to install a beautiful memorial sign honoring Diana Romero Wehr and her lasting impact on our community.

The butterfly-shaped sign serves as a special tribute to Diana’s love of gardening, education, and creating spaces that bring beauty and joy to others. Present for the installation were Diana’s husband, two of her daughters, and fellow Keokuk County Master Gardeners who helped celebrate her memory and the dedication of this meaningful addition to the garden.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped bring this project to life:
🎨 The students of the Sigourney Arts Department for helping design the sign Sigourney Community School District
🔧 Andy Snakenberg, at Snakenberg Welding, for welding the sign structure
🖌️ Tony Pitsch, at the Sigourney Body Shop, for painting the sign and adding the beautiful finishing touches

We are grateful to all who contributed their time and talents to create this lasting memorial. The Butterfly Garden will continue to be a place of beauty, reflection, and learning for years to come, while honoring Diana’s legacy and the impact she made on so many lives.

FairEntry is NOW OPEN and REQUIRED for Expo Fair 2026. This is MANDATORY not optional in order to exhibit at fair.

Keokuk County’s FairEntry process is ready! All 4-H and FFA members exhibiting ANYTHING at Expo Fair 2026 (static, communications, or livestock) must enter all exhibits into FairEntry!

This process allows you to designate classes for your exhibits.

4-H Exhibitors will use their 4-HOnline login information and FFA members will need to use the FairEntry account login.

Also, if a 4-H/FFA member is showing any animal, you will need to pay the Extension Office a $15.00 exhibitor fee by July 1st! Entries in FairEntry will not be approved until your fee is received.

Clover Kids do not need to enter anything into Fair Entry. See less
