"Being at JBU has been one of the best experiences in my life! Here, I met some of the most friendly, humble, and smartest people. I enjoyed being part of different clubs on campus because they helped me to grow professionally and spiritually. I have loved learning more about what servant leadership means and how it looks in the workplace.

I am grateful for the good times, the friendships, and the knowledge that I gained in my four years at JBU, God has shown me His grace and faithfulness through this time!

After graduation, I’m moving back to Guatemala, and I hope to get a job where I can combine my knowledge and passion for business, innovation, and community development!"

Olivia McCafferty, one of our undergraduate students, will be graduating in May with her Bachelors degree in General Business.

“Because of the business department I have discovered my passions. I have consistently wanted to be a leader in groups and teams. JBU has led me to learn how to strengthen this skill in a professional way!

Not only do I want to help become a better leader for the business world, but I want to inspire others to get out of their comfort zone! The time I’ve spent at JBU has allowed me to put myself in things that were not in my comfort zone. I am a firm believer that if you are comfortable you are not growing. I had never cheered before coming to JBU, but I wanted to try something new. I’m so glad that I did because it helped me grow my relationships and leadership skills.

While I am not sure what I am doing immediately after graduation, I know that I will be opening my online boutique (The Luxy Liv) within the following year! I want to create a store for women of all sizes to find clothing that makes them feel beautiful in their own skin."

Congratulations Olivia! We can't wait to see how you use your leadership skills!
