John Brown University Visual Arts Department is the largest department on campus and features majors in Graphic Design, Photography, Cinema, Art & Illustration, and Visual FX. The Visual Arts department is housed in twin buildings in the center of campus featuring state-of-the-art MAC labs, photo studios, traditional darkrooms, two art galleries, a theater classroom, graphic design classrooms, ill

ustration classrooms, sound and video editing suites, and more! And we have an additional building called the "Art Barn" that has a topnotch photo studio, ceramic studio, individual painting studios, and drawing and painting classrooms.

Hi i’m John Lafrance, and hi i’m Caleb Wallace. We’re both film majors.

Okay, Caleb here I’m a film major with a minor in graphic design, I am from Siloam Springs AR but i was born in Seattle WA, which sounds cooler so i just say i’m from there sometimes.

Okay, John here along with film I also minor in photography. I’m from Kansas City Missouri a little fun fact about me is that my roommate is Caleb Wallace.

What a transformation!! Yesterday, our students putting on AKA spent all morning cleaning and getting the gallery space ready! They are SO excited to show you their work and would love for you to stop by.

The show will be open all weekend with an opening reception on Friday at 6PM! We would love to see all there!
