Meet our Mentorship Director 2018-2019! 👥

Ana Castillo is original from Alexandria, Virginia. However, her family is from El Salvador 🇸🇻. She’s a senior and International Business major.

“I'm known for loving coffee ☕️. My favorite is definitely a hazelnut latte from groundfloor coffee. I also enjoy reading nonfiction books 📚, I love numbers🔢, history, serving as a translator for teams, and traveling to Central America✈️. I am so excited to get to know everyone involved with PIP, and help them connect with JBU Alumni to better plan for their success.”

Jesus Madrigal is originally from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 . He is in his sophomore year and is pursuing a double major in Marketing and International Business, with a minor in Psychology. 💡

“I describe myself as an extroverted guy that is always willing to learn in every occasion and place🤓. To give you an idea, I had a Buddhist host family in Japan 🇯🇵 , now I have a Christian host family here in US 🇺🇸 and my original family is Catholic ⛪. I learned a lot from them and I really enjoy how cultures are involved. I love outdoors, camping⛺️, lifting💪🏻, fashion👞 and technology📱 . And yes, I’m incredibly excited to support the student’s professional development here in PIP!”

Shelby Reynolds is originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She is a senior with a double major in International Business and Spanish.
“I love to travel more than anything else✈️. I did a lot of traveling throughout Europe this past spring semester while I was studying abroad in Seville, Spain 🇪🇸. I also enjoy hiking⛰, playing tennis🎾 , reading 📖, and playing with small animals 🐶. My top strength on Strengthsfinder is Learner because I love to learn everything about the world around me. My Myers-Briggs is INTJ. I am the youngest with one brother and one sister. I love that PIP prepares students for real-life job situations.​”

This Thursday, we have the privilege of hosting Dr. Weaver as he discusses the topic of Social Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Weaver is the assistant Dean of Chesapeake Energy School of Business at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. He is also one of the founders for the BYX Greek Chapter nationwide! How neat is that!?
