John Brown University’s 2024 International Food Festival celebrated cultural diversity with dishes from 28 countries. Highlights included Venezuelan arepas, Guatemalan dobladitas, and Salvadoran empanadas, with Venezuela winning first place.

Thank you so much for coming to the International Food Festival! 🇻🇪🇲🇽🇦🇺 🇬🇾 🇩🇪 JBU students and faculty had the chance to try food from 28 different countries and 2 indigenous groups! 🍱🥘🍝 Congratulations to all participants and thank you for making this event possible! 🥳🥳

Our annual SALSA NIGHT is in ONE WEEK! We’re excited to have collaborated with SEA and the Language Studies Department for this event.

Come by Walker Student Center at 6:30pm for snacks, beverages, special performances, and DANCING (even dance competition)!

Our collab event with the Honors Executive Council is finally here:
HISPANIC HERITAGE FEST!
Join us Thursday, Oct 6 @ 6pm for music, dancing, student performances, trivia prizes, a faculty panel, as well as imported CANDIES and HORCHATA in celebration of Latinx cultures at JBU.
The event will be held at the outdoor amphitheater between J.Alvin and SBC.

Meet the new Treasurer of CIF, Daehee!

He’s a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science.

Dahee is from South Korea, but also lived in Kenya for four years. He’s a big people person who loves biking, cooking, and playing the piano.
