From Dr. Bass:

Dr. Scott Moseman will be delivering a short presentation tomorrow evening (4/23), 7 PM, in CC 101. His recent book, Defining the Mission: The Development of US Strategic Military Intelligence up to the Cold War, is now available from the University of Kansas Press. It is a volume in the "Studies in Civil-Military Relations" series, edited by William A. Taylor.

Scott is a former student of mine, and we have kept in touch over the years. While an officer in military service he worked in naval intelligence, among other duties. After finishing his doctorate at Kansas State University, he began teaching in the position that I once held at the Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth.

I will consider it a personal favor if you could attend. Please try to join us for this presentation and discussion following.
