We are so excited for Rev. Dr. Philip Thompson, professor of Systematic Theology and Church History at Kairos University. He was just elected as the board chair for the BJC - Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty.

In the press release announcing his election alongside three other new board members (Rev. Dr. Elijah R. Zehyoue, Rev. Dr. Christopher The, and Sofi Hersher Andorsky), the Rev. Dr. Thompson said this: “In such a challenging time, it is a weighty honor to be chosen to serve in a leadership role on the BJC Board. I look forward to working with the staff and board alike as we live our shared mission of defending religious liberty for all, and cultivating a culture of faith freedom in local communities across the nation.”

Congratulations, Rev. Dr. Thompson!
