๐ผ Clinical Experience
Dr. Walgrave provides a unique blend of psychiatric-mental health and primary care services to rural communities in southwest Minnesota. Caring for both pediatric and adult patients, she helps bridge critical gaps in access to healthcare and mental health services in underserved areas.
๐ฅ Service & Passion
For more than 35 years, Dr. Walgrave has trained in martial arts, including Taekwondo, Hapkido, Judo, Boxing, and Self-Defense. She has trained with the U.S. National Team, earned multiple national and international championships, and won the U.S. Open in 2017. Today, she channels that experience into coaching and mentoring athletes, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and discipline both on and off the mat.
Her commitment to service extends beyond athletics. She volunteers with su***de prevention initiatives, Mount Marty mission trips to Guatemala, community food shelves, and rural mental health advocacy efforts. She also provides self-defense seminars for survivors of domestic violence, with proceeds going directly back into the community.
๐พ In Her Element
Whether she's coaching athletes, cheering on the Sioux Falls Stampede, or traveling with her two daughters and future sons-in-law, Dr. Walgrave is always on the move. At home, she shares life with her three dogsโLeela, Ludo, and Finley. Finley is a therapy dog in training who wears a bowtie and is a perfect gentleman at work. Once he gets home, though, he magically turns into a T-Rex!
๐ฌ Personal Motto:
"Authentic servant leadership with humility, simplicity, and strength."
Weโre grateful for the compassion, leadership, and dedication Dr. Walgrave brings to the Mount Marty Anesthesia team! ๐
