The Performing and Visual Arts at Augustana will present the Command Performance, featuring appearances by Augustana’s Band, Orchestra, Choirs, Percussion Ensemble, Northlanders Jazz Band and more, at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, in the Great Hall of the Washington Pavilion.

In case you missed the show, here are a few highlights!

Nearly 2,000 alumni, students, parents, faculty/staff and friends filled the Great Hall of the Washington Pavilion for the 60th annual celebration of Viking Varieties. The show included a cast of more than 200 student and alumni performers and featured the Augustana Orchestra and the College's choirs.

Tonight was a wonderful start and a super fun crowd! This show is certain to please everybody in some way. There are surprises as well ... If you have not yet purchased your tickets, do so now. Tonight was an absolute sell out and I believe every seat was filled! Bravo to the cast, crew and musicians. And what did you think about the new piano????
