The University Program Board kicked off the school year with a ROAR at their Welcome to Juruassic event on August 25th! SRU students enjoyed stuffing a furry friend, a scavenger hunt around the quad, mechanical shark rides, and bamboo and succulent potting🌱🦕

UPB is hitting it out of the park with a trip to PNC Park to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates go head to head with the Kansas City Royals!⚾️

This year, we’re digging up big ideas and even bigger fun…starting with a roar at UPB’s Welcome to Jurassic Rock!!🦖🪨

Kick off the adventure by adopting a cozy stuff-a-plush companion, planting some greenery with the bamboo and succulent potting station, or snagging a custom jurassic caricature🌱

Once you’re geared up, test your extinction-survival skills with action-packed games like the dino dig, dinosaur golf, dino egg toss, and a high-stakes scavenger hunt🥚🦕

If you’re feeling extra brave, take a turn on the wild mechanical shark🦈

and finally, fossil-fuel up for the semester with an ice cream treat, quick grab & go goodies, and a shot at T-rex-cellent raffle prizes🍦

Even though the skies were gloomy all day, the sun showed up right on time for an unforgettable night in the Quad ☀️ 

From baby animal cuddles to tie-dye creations, mechanical bull rides, inflatable obstacle course runs, and endless games, there was something at Slipchella for everyone. 

Plus, specialty sodas, Crumbl cookies, and gourmet soft pretzels kept the energy going all night long 🍪🥨

Huge thanks to WSRU-FM for throwing it back with the best hits of 2016 🎶 You made the vibes unforgettable.

An extra special thank you to ALL OF YOU that turned out for UPB’s LAST EVENT OF THE YEAR! Until next semester SRU…💛🎶
