Greetings Tufts Off-Hill/Hillside House/Commuter Students and Alumni!

The Holidays are here and there's no better way to celebrate than with your Hillside House family!

Please join us for our annual
HILLSIDE HOUSE HOLIDAY PARTY on
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20th 6:30-9pm.
We will be in a beautiful venue this year, the Remis Sculpture Court inside the Aidekman Arts Center on the Tufts Medford Campus, just across the street from Hillside House!

Come spread some cheer as you reconnect and socialize with friends, new and old. Reminisce about the good ol’ days....ski trips, whist, cribbage, Spectaculars, and all nighters making floats for the Homecoming Parade! Hear about all the exciting things happening for commuters at Tufts today and about all the changes to Hillside House!

Your $10 admission can be paid at the door and includes a delicious holiday buffet dinner and open bar. Kids are free. And, if any of your kids need community service hours, there is plenty they can help us with!

The night will be filled with fun and merriment. There will be a special SURPRISE visitor and we are bringing back the famous/infamous YANKEE SWAP!! So, bring a gender generic gift (worth $10-20) wrapped up or in a gift bag for the swap! No need to purchase anything....the best gifts are found in your basement just waiting to be dusted off and wrapped up to bring joy (or laughter!) to your fellow Hillsiders. Kids of all ages are welcome to join in this fun tradition!

Also, we will be collecting monetary donations at the party for Neighbors in Need, a charity that feeds the poor and hungry in the Greater Lawrence area and is actively supporting those impacted by the Merrimack Valley gas explosions.

We hope you can join us on Thursday, 12/20 and look forward to seeing you there!

The Commuter Program will be seeing some enhancements!

1. Upgraded Hillside House Spaces - Look out for upgraded bedrooms, private study areas, and group workspaces at Hillside House! Any additional ideas? Share them here: https://goo.gl/forms/jV8lWctY8sQNbCi73

2. Paid Leadership Opportunity: we're hiring two paid leaders to oversee Hillside House and build the community through events and programming. Time commitment: 3 hours/week. Learn more here: https://goo.gl/forms/MzL3OHHuEvSBC6sN2

3. Three Rooms, Six Beds - Hillside House will have six rooms, three for commuters, three for dorm residents. We have linens available to use in case you forgot your own. They will always be available. There will also be additional beds available in Harleston Hall for extra capacity.
