Program Coordinator - Work the Vote 2024
Work the Vote 2024 is an exciting new initiative to recruit a diverse group of 100 college age students in St. Joseph County as election workers for the Primary Election on May 7, 2024 and the General Election on November 5, 2024.
The Program Coordinator of Work the Vote 2024 requires a self-starter with extensive knowledge of social media platforms, marketing strategies focused on college age students, event planning, data management, documentation, and reporting.
Relevant experience in sales, recruiting, community engagement with college age students, and client development is desired.
This temporary, part time position of 20hrs/week is in 12 week segments: March – June, September – December and a 4 week segment in January 2025.
A U.S. Election Assistance Commission grant is funding this temporary, part time position.
Program Coordinator – Interns Work the Vote 2024
Interns Work the Vote 2024 is an exciting new initiative to identify and recruit students from local colleges to serve as interns for the 2024 election cycle in the St. Joseph County Elections and Voter Registration office. The Program Coordinator will recruit, train and supervise a small group of interns, who will get a hands on experience throughout the 2024 election cycle.
The Program Coordinator for Interns Work the Vote 2024 requires a self-starter with a passion for civic engagement, knowledge of the election process, social media skills, and an interest in community/team building.
Relevant experience working with college age students, data management and reporting desired.
This temporary, part time position of 20hrs/week is in 12 week segments: March – June, September – December and a 4 week segment in January 2025.
