Hiram College is pleased to announce the adoption of Notre Dame College’s Thrive Learning Center, as agreed upon through a memorandum of understanding, with plans to serve as the new location for the program following the closure of NDC at the end of the spring semester.

🌟 October is Learning Disabilities (LD) Awareness Month! 🌟

Join us as we kick off our "Lead with LD" campaign! 👏 This month-long initiative is all about reshaping perceptions surrounding learning disabilities. 🧠 We're here to share eye-opening statistics, heartwarming stories, and messages of unity, all with the goal of raising awareness, fostering empathy, and supporting those with learning disabilities. 💙

The first week of classes for Fall 2023 is in the books!! At Thrive we've seen so many new and returning students, hanging out at Thrive, meeting old and new friends at our "Welcome Back" pizza party, and working with our staff. Have a great weekend Falcons!

At Thrive we are so excited to see so many new and returning Falcons!! We haven't seen these numbers (74 and counting) since 2019! That's an increase of more than 30% from last year!!!

At the Thrive Learning Center at NDC we are busy preparing for the Fall 2023 semester.

We've had our staff meeting and participated in campus wide DEI training (where our own Dr. Brown presented to faculty and staff on ways to work with NDC students who have [learning differences, disabilities, diagnoses, neurodiversity]).

We are now getting ready to welcome 36 (!!!) new students who have chosen to use Thrive during their NDC journey. Welcome to the Thrive/Falcon flock!
