Please join the Roosevelt Institute at Mount Holyoke College at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 17th for a panel discussion on Environmental Racism. Recent issues, such as the Dakota Access Pipeline Protests ( ) and the ongoing water crisis in Flint, Michigan have brought to light how low-income communities and communities of color are disproportionately impacted by environmental crises because they lack the necessary institutional power needed to generate meaningful change. We will explore how environmental issues and policies affect marginalized communities and discuss what actions people can take on a local level.
