This year, our Southern Strike Family lost a great Officer and Husband to a senseless act of violence. Captain David Navidad was one of our Army’s bright future leaders who lost his life too soon. To honor him, we are going to establish a memorial and invite his wife and parents to attend the unveiling. If you feel that you want to support this great cause, please donate and share with friends.

This morning the Canes Company had the honor to speak with and learn from Brigadier General Ronald D. Sullivan. Being able to speak with the Chief Judge for the U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals was an amazing opportunity for our cadets. They were given information on how to become a JAG officer (Army lawyer), what exactly BG Sullivan did to get where he is today, and the roles a JAG officer plays in the Army. Thank you Brigadier General Sullivan for all of your wise words!

This event is an 18.6 mile Norwegian Foot March that is designed to give service members a chance to earn the Norwegian Foot March badge for their dress uniforms. This entire event is free for all service members. The only requirement is to bring a new toy to donate to our local charities for the holiday season. In 2021, more than 160 service members came out for this amazing event and raised over 300 new toys that
were donated to multiple charities. Our goal this year is to get over 400 service members from across South Florida to come together for this cause. Participants will all earn a free custom Ruck for Toys T shirt and other give aways. We will have food and water at the end and top prizes to hand out to top finishers in their groups. For those who do not want to compete in the full 18.6, there will also be a 6 mile and 12 mile alternative event for a certificate of completion! Spread the word and register today!! We will be recording this entire event and taking pictures for our guests to have access to. Tell a Friend and register today!
