SMCC Phi Theta Kappa - Alpha Chi Nu chapter Alpha Chi Nu is Southern Maine Community College's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa - the international honors society for two year schools.

Alpha Chi Nu is the SMCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Each semester students that have completed at least 12 credits at the college who have a 3.5 or higher Grade Point Average are invited to join. Phi Theta Kappa offers many benefits and is a wonderful addition to a resume or college transfer application. The Alpha Chi Nu chapter is involved with a number of projects that exemplify t

he Phi Theta Kappa hallmarks of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship. Current members are encouraged to participate in activities sponsored by the organization including honors seminars, community service projects and fellowship activities.
