You are invited to join Detroit History Tours and their two hour walking tour of the Motor City’s legendary skyscrapers. Learn the history of these icons of Detroit's skyline and the interesting stories behind their construction and use, the architects and financiers who commissioned them, and their impact on the city.
Admission Information
• General Admission: $25
You MUST purchase your ticket ahead of time. Please click here to visit the Detroit History Tours page, select "Saturday August 27th, 2022 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm" from the dropdown, and proceed through the checkout. To me knowledge, there is no attendee limit, but please be sure to purchase your ticket prior to RSVPing to this Meetup.
Parking
• Parking is available at The Buhl Parking Garage, across the street at 525 Griswold St, Detroit, MI 48226. The costs vary from $10-20.
• Street parking is also available for $1.50 per hour at city meters.
Where to Meet
The tour begins in the main concourse inside the Guardian Building. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour is set to start. I will be wearing a badge with the Meetup logo on it.
