Wofford College, established in 1854, is a four-year, residential liberal arts college located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It offers 27 major fields of study to a student body of 1,775 undergraduates. Nationally known for the strength of its academic program, outstanding faculty, experiential learning opportunities and successful graduates, Wofford is recognized consistently as a “best value”

and for its commitment to student success and accessibility for low- and middle-income students. The college community has 12 sororities and fraternities and is home to one of the nation’s earliest Phi Beta Kappa chapters. Wofford is home to 19 NCAA Division I athletics teams – and will add softball in 2024 – made up of student-athletes with some of the highest graduation rates in the country. A member of the Southern Conference, Wofford athletics regularly places the college on the national stage. In addition, the college has hosted summer training camp for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers for 27 years.

Margaret Deans Fawcett Grantz ’13, co-founder of Camp Cole, was featured on NBC’s Today Show show for a unique collaboration between the camp and Alivia, a women’s clothing brand, that celebrated the art of girls with disabilities.

Grantz, along with Camp Cole staff and campers, also traveled to New York to be on the TODAY Plaza and meet Craig Melvin ’01, who narrated the segment.
