How SASA is helping:

The South Asian Student Association (SASA) is committed to raising awareness and fostering open conversations about mental health within our community. By supporting this event, SASA aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health in South Asian communities and beyond. We encourage our members to donate, spread awareness, and walk with us in solidarity.
You can also support us by registering to walk with our team—just click the "Join Our Team" button above!
All donations are 100% tax-deductible and will help AFSP get one step closer to its bold goal of reducing the su***de rate by 20% by 2025.

Thank you for your support!

I'm supporting American Foundation for Su***de Prevention to help save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de. Please support me with a donation or join me!

Meet Varsita (Var), Vice President of SASA. To her, starting the South Asian Student Association club is an exciting opportunity to create a space where people can come together and celebrate the vibrant cultures of South Asia. It’s a chance to share your own experiences, traditions, and customs with others who can relate and appreciate them. By starting this club, she hope to be able to foster a sense of belonging and unity among South Asian communities, while also raising awareness and promoting cultural diversity. She is most excited about seeing any and all students join SASA on this journey & watching it blossom into something that will be carried on after she graduates.
