The Workforce Storm ⛈️

A workforce storm is forming — and most companies aren’t prepared.

At a previous Upstate Talent Forum, economist Ron Hetrick explained how demographic shifts are changing the labor market faster than many leaders realize.

The reality:
➡️ Millions of Baby Boomers are retiring
➡️ Fewer young workers are entering the labor force
➡️ Demand for service and skilled roles continues to grow

The biggest workforce challenge of the next decade may not be automation.

It may simply be having enough people to do the work.
