Congratulations to the winners of our “Anything But Hair” Competition and our 3D Theatrical Makeup Contest! Your imagination, dedication, and artistic skills truly stood out. We are so proud of all the students who participated and brought their visions to life.

The advanced Esthetic students truly brought characters to life in the 3D Theatrical Character Makeup competition. The results were nothing short of AMAZING!

Students used advanced techniques to create bold, dimensional looks full of texture and detail. This competition challenged students to think beyond beauty and step into a world of character creation.

The Cosmetology students took creativity to the next level with the Anything But Hair competition. Wow, did they deliver!

Using unexpected materials, students were challenged to think outside of the box and create a hair sculpture. This competition was not just about the sculpture, it was about pushing boundaries, problem solving and expressing creativity in bold new ways.

We are proud of our students for stepping up, taking risks, and showcasing their skills in a fun and inspiring way🙌🙌

Yesterday, we proudly celebrated nine amazing graduates from our Nail Technology program taught in Spanish! 💅Their dedication, resilience, and passion have led them to this incredible milestone.

Each of these graduates has worked hard to complete the program and is now ready to shine in the beauty industry. We are so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what they do next!

🌟 Student Spotlight of the Month 🌟
Meet Cameran Walker — a proud Isothermal graduate and talented local Nail Technician! 💅✨ We are incredibly proud of her passion, dedication, and the example she’s setting for future nail techs in our community. In a short period she has gained a loyal clientele. She is also ready to expand her business. We are happy that she chose the Isothermal Nail Technology program. 

“Hi!! My name is Cameran Walker, and I’m a licensed nail technician known as TheNailCamm. Art has always been a huge part of who I am, and I’ve found my passion in creating detailed, custom nail designs that help my clients feel confident and put together.
While pursuing my bachelor’s degree, I’ve also been dedicated to growing my business. Balancing both hasn’t always been easy, but staying consistent and putting in long hours has allowed me to turn something I love into something successful. In less than a year, I’ve built a full client book and continue to grow every day, which has been incredibly rewarding. I specialize in creative, personalized sets and pride myself on giving each client an experience that feels both professional and tailored to them.
I’m also incredibly grateful to have been invited back twice to speak at Isothermal Community College where I completed my nail technician program, and to have been asked to serve on their advisory board. I now have the opportunity to teach upcoming nail technicians about Gel-X, builder gel, and advanced nail art, which has been such a full-circle moment for me.
I’m especially excited to be moving into my own salon suite soon, where I’ll be able to elevate my services even more and create a space that truly reflects my brand. My advice to others is to stay consistent, trust your vision, and never be afraid to stand out. When you put passion behind your work, the right people will always find you.” 💖

✨ Day of Hands-On Learning & Growth! ✨
Our students have been hard at work sharpening their skills and expanding their knowledge across all programs! 💅🏽💇🏽‍♀️✨
Our Nail Technology students had an amazing session diving into advanced nail art and enhancement techniques with Cameran Walker. Cameran inspired them with her beautiful creations and knowledge of nail art skills.
Meanwhile, our Cosmetology students were excited to welcome Regina McKnight for an educational experience focused on scalp analysis, deep cleansing shampoo, product knowledge, and mastering blow drying and flat ironing techniques for natural hair care. Knowledge + technique = confidence behind the chair!
Also, our Esthetics students enjoyed a wonderful Image product knowledge day, gaining valuable insight to better prepare them for their future careers as professional estheticians. Glowing skin starts with great education! 🌿✨
We are so proud of all our students for their dedication and passion. The future of beauty is bright! 💫
