Another year in the books for the Gonzaga Bulldog Battalion. Proud of the growth, leadership, and commitment shown by our cadets throughout the year. As we close out the semester, we’re excited to send cadets off to summer training, advanced camp, and schools to continue developing as future Army leaders. Best of luck this summer and Go Zags.

Last week, Gonzaga participated in a three-day field training exercise alongside Eastern Washington University, Washington State University, and Central Washington University, providing a valuable opportunity for hands-on learning. Cadets from all schools collaborated in training scenarios that strengthened teamwork, communication, and leadership. The experience not only sharpened their leadership skills but also built strong connections between schools.

Senior Spotlight:
Cadet Michael Cosio is an International Studies major from Lakewood, Washington. He studied abroad at the Gonzaga University’s Florence, Italy campus and gained hands-on experience through an internship with the International Rescue Committee. Outside of his academic and ROTC commitments, he enjoys long-distance hiking and international travel. Upon graduating in May, he will commission as a Logistics officer in the WA Guard.
