Gonzaga is the only Jesuit University on the West Coast that offers both a Bachelor of Arts in Music and in Music Education. Dating back to 1889, Gonzaga University has a long and truly outstanding tradition in the formal study of music. aculty and staff are committed to preserving and developing the long and distinguished tradition of excellence in humanistic, Catholic, and Jesuit education. With over twenty performances each semester, Gonzaga’s ensembles perform in a number of venues, including St. Aloysius Church on the Gonzaga campus, Spokane's historic Bing Crosby Theater, named after one of Gonzaga's most famous alumni, and the recently restored landmark Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox, the home of the Spokane Symphony.

Thank you to The Spokesman-Review for this deep-dive preview of our concert this Saturday! Music, the sea, and the spiritual collide in GU Professor Charlie Pepiton's enigmatic new film Love, Eleanor.

Call it serendipity, call it destiny, call it good luck: There was little doubt that Gonzaga University professors Charles Pepiton and Michael Kropf would eventually work together after Kropf came to Gonzaga in 2023.
