What do you actually learn in graphic design program? SFCC's Graphic Design program covers general advertising, composition, web design, development, and motion graphics because at any point in your career, you could be asked to do any of it.

When Em Rowe graduated from High School she wasn't sure what to study but knew she wanted to do something creative. She then found out that animation was part of our Graphic Design program and enrolled. She has been working as a Graphic Designer at Spokane Colleges for almost five years!

You don't need to know it all, you just need something that pulls you in.

You don't have to be an artist to be a graphic designer. John Mujica has been teaching at SFCC for 8 years and this is one of the first things he tells every new student. Creativity isn't just about drawing or painting. It could be cooking. It could be a photography. It could be the way you solve a problem. The program helps you figure out what your version of creativity looks like and how to use it.
