Western New England University 8 representatives at the National Championships is the second most of any D3 team in the country and one of only 7 programs to have 8 or more NCAA qualifiers.

Western New England is currently in 2nd at the 2026 NCAA Region 1 Championships!

6️⃣ are in the finals, clinching a spot to the NCAA National tournament, while 3️⃣ more Golden Bears will compete for 3rd and a ticket to Coralville, Iowa tomorrow morning!

Today is, WNEGIVES! Our annual day of giving at Western New England University. Thank you to everyone that has already contributed so far, both our Men’s and Women’s Wrestling teams have raised approximately $5,000 and we still need your help to unlock our Challenges!

🔹Once Women’s Wrestling achieves $11,000 in donations, the same alumni will make a gift of $6,000 to the program.

2026 is now LIVE! WNE Gives is our annual day of giving at and you don’t have to wait until February 18th to make your gift!

We are extremely grateful to share that an anonymous alumni has pledged $12,000 to our wrestling programs if men’s wrestling raises $15,000 and women’s wrestling raises $11,000! ($6,000 to Men’s Wrestling & 6,000 to Women’s Wrestling).

Men’s Wrestling Alumni & Captain Dave Osiecki has already stepped up to help us achieve this goal by pledging $3,000 once we raise our first $7,000! Thank you, Dave!!

A supporter of our women’s wrestling program has also pledged to match the first $5,000 that our women’s wrestling program raises!

Once Men’s Wrestling reaches $7,000 in donations, alumni and captain Dave Osiecki ‘98 will make a $3,000 gift to the Men’s Wrestling program.
