Earlier this week, our Assistant Professor of Film Dr. Tanya Goldman was at the Czech Center in New York City to celebrate the Czech New Wave classic Daisies (1966) by Věra Chytilová. She has co-edited a collection of six academic essays about the film that will be published in JCMS: The Journal of Cinema and Media Studies this fall. It's one of her favorite films and she teaches it regularly in CMFJ courses including Intro to Film, Film History II, and Women Filmmakers
