On Thursday night, Witt EDUC students had the opportunity to participate in Lagonda School’s STEM and Literacy Night. Phonics, ELA, Math, and Science Methods, students interacted with families through hands-on activities and passed out materials for continued learning at home. The Wittenberg University Student Education Association collaborated with the Hagen Center for a Service on the Stoop to benefit Crayons to Classrooms, a local organization helping to equip classrooms with school supplies. Witt was awarded NSF's Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program to recruit math and science majors to become teachers in high-needs schools. The ASCENT-STEM Teacher Scholarship, which is approximately $20,000 annually, is awarded to juniors and seniors. Please contact Dr. Daiga or the Witt Admissions Office for more details and eligibility requirements.
