Averi is an environmental science major and biology minor.

Her favorite SK memories include the girls throwing her a surprise party before she went abroad, and getting her little Gracie.

Her advice for underclassmen: "Always remember that there is help and support around you, and that you never have to deal with anything alone."

After graduation, Averi will be working with Springfield promise neighborhood before getting research experience in Indianapolis to apply for grad school.

Paige is a philosopy and sociology with a criminology concentration double major. She has also been an RA in firestine for 2 years, she is 1st generation college student, former director of panhellenic relations, and a member of national society of leadership & success.

Her favorite SK memories include spending time in the basement at the house playing games, and getting her big and little.

Her advice for underclassmen: "Make as many memories as you can and go to as many events as you can, it goes by fast!"

After graduation, Paige plans on getting a job in the criminal justice field.

Today, we are honoring Shania Stone!

Shania is a Psychology major with minors in Art, Chinese, and Women’s Studies. She was also involved in the Honors Program (Graduating with Honors), Psi Chi, Chi Alpha Sigma, Tri-Alpha, Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Phi Omega, Sigma Kappa, Women’s Water Polo, Women’s Swimming (3x record breaker, NCAC Scholar-Athlete Award).

Her favorite SK memory: "Greek Week 2026! It was so much fun to work together, have so many laughs, and play broom ball for the first time!"

☆☆☆

Her advice to underclassmen: "As a senior in college, my biggest advice to underclassmen is to get involved early and don’t be afraid to try new things. You never know what might click or who you’ll meet. At the same time, make sure you set aside time for self-care and the hobbies that keep you grounded, because burnout is so real. Most importantly, be confident in yourself and your abilities. Growth takes time, but trusting yourself makes the journey a lot more rewarding!"

After graduation, Shania will be going on a service trip to Lesotho in Summer 2026, working in her hometown (administrative staff for the swim team she's coached for since 2021 during the NSSL Championships, lifeguarding, and instructing swim lessons), then focusing on searching for grad school!

Becca is a first generation college student, and a Psychology and Art double major. She is also the outgoing director of philanthropy and service, and outgoing director of COB for Sigma Kappa.

Her favorite SK memories include getting her littles CJ and Sophie, watching her fam grow with Jaz and Hannah, and movie nights in A51 her sophomore year.

Her advice for underclassmen: "Take every opportunity you can to try new things and meet new people. It allows you to enjoy everything all at once and make so many fun memories."

For our first senior spotlight, we are proud to honor Lexie Minard!

Lexie is a Primary Education (P-5) and Intervention Specalist (K-12), with a minor in Religion. She is also the outgoing President of Sigma Kappa, past vice president of recruitment and social chair, green club secretary, and a member of Kappa Delta Pi.

☆☆☆

Her favorite SK memories include getting her big Cam freshman year, and the whole new member process in general her first semester!

☆☆☆

Her advice for underclassmen is: "Enjoy each and every second you possibly can. The good, the bad, the ugly! It is all part of the process; you are always right where you are meant to be! I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and things will always come to you that are meant to come to fruition!"

After graduation, Lexie will be interning at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont (GSMIT) for 8 weeks as a teacher naturalist intern. Then, in September, she will be volunteering with the Peace Corps in Lestho, Africa, as a primary English co-teacher.

We are so proud of you Lexie, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you! 💜
