Last week, we welcomed longtime AIC Head Football Coach ๐€๐ซ๐ญ ๐–๐ข๐ฅ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ฌ back to State Street as he prepares to take his place in the ๐€๐ˆ๐‚ ๐€๐ญ๐ก๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ ๐‡๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐…๐š๐ฆ๐ž ๐‚๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”!

Coach Wilkins returned to campus to sit down and reflect on his remarkable career, the student-athletes he coached, and the memories made during more than two decades leading the Yellow Jackets.

During his visit, Coach Wilkins also had the opportunity to connect with current Head Football Coach Chipka and members of todayโ€™s Yellow Jackets football team. It was a special moment bringing together generations of AIC Football.

The winningest head coach in both AIC and Northeast-10 Conference history, Wilkins recorded 151 career victories, led the Yellow Jackets to four conference championships, and guided AIC to the programโ€™s only two NCAA Tournament appearances.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Meet Chuck Campagna โ€™78, a proud AIC alumnus whose journey from the football field to the executive level has been shaped by perseverance, discipline, and a willingness to take risks.

Chuckโ€™s path to AIC began unexpectedly, but what he found on campus would influence the way he approached leadership throughout his life. As a Yellow Jacket, he learned the philosophy of โ€œpride, poise, and executionโ€โ€”three words he continues to carry with him decades later.

Today, Chuck serves as President and CEO of Amerlux Lighting and on the Board of Directors for the NFL Alumni Association, where his commitment to leadership extends to mentoring and giving back to others.

From AIC football to the professional world, Chuckโ€™s story is a powerful reminder of how the lessons and relationships formed at AIC can continue to make an impact long after graduation.

๐€ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‘๐ž๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐ฌ ๐“๐จ ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

Today, we welcomed back ๐‰๐š๐ง๐š ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐œ โ€™๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ, ๐Œ๐๐€ โ€™๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘, one of our 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame inductees for Womenโ€™s Volleyball, as she returned to campus to film for this fallโ€™s induction ceremony.

Janaโ€™s journey to AIC began in Serbia, where she came from as an international student before building one of the most accomplished careers in AIC Womenโ€™s Volleyball history. An All-American and four-time NE10 All-Conference honoree, Jana helped lead the Yellow Jackets to three consecutive NCAA East Region Finals and two East Region Championships in 2016 and 2018. She was named the 2018 NE10 Player of the Year and finished her career with 1,498 kills and 1,745 points, both ranking third in AIC history.

During her visit, Jana shared how honored she is to be inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame and reflected on what AIC has meant to her. For Jana, AIC remains a special place filled with memories, friendships, and experiences that have stayed with her long after her playing days.

While back at the Hive, Jana also had the opportunity to watch the current AIC Womenโ€™s Volleyball team practice, meet some of todayโ€™s Yellow Jackets, and connect with Head Coach Eli Irizarry. It was a special moment celebrating the connection between AIC Volleyballโ€™s past and present.

Weโ€™re thrilled to celebrate Jana at the Athletics Hall of Fame induction on ๐…๐ซ๐ข๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ. Join us as we honor Jana and the entire AHOF Class of 2026.
