Student Organization Spotlight: Eta Sigma Delta
Eta Sigma Delta is all about recognizing academic achievement while giving students opportunities to build connections, serve their community, and grow professionally along the way.
Leading ESD this year is president Anya Meyer, a Hospitality Leadership senior with an emphasis in Tourism Management. After graduating this spring, she plans to continue her education and pursue a master’s degree in tourism. Through her time in ESD, Anya has experienced firsthand just how much getting involved can add to your college experience.
There’s plenty ahead for ESD this year, including their annual professional development trip to Las Vegas this October, volunteer opportunities throughout the semester, and welcoming a new group of members into the organization. For Anya, that last part is especially exciting—helping new members find their place, get involved, and make the most of everything ESD has to offer.
