On Sunday August 30th, 2026, NASA launched the next great space telescope.

In the 1960s, Nancy Grace Roman helped create Hubble Space Telescope. For decades, her work has given us incredible images of the night sky, and served as inspiration to generations of astronomers.

Now the Space Telescope that is named in her honor will capture images 100x larger than Hubble, process large areas of the sky 1,000x faster, and help answer questions about Dark Matter.
