The Cheek 150 Open-Access Computer Lab will be closing at the end of the Fall semester and will remain closed. This is to prepare for upcoming building renovations scheduled to be completed in 2026, which include a new, efficient computing space for students. In the meantime, students will continue to have access to essential computing resources at the main open-access computer lab in Meyer Library 105 and the satellite lab in Glass Hall 436. ...

On Sunday, October 20, the following systems will be updated and unavailable to maintain the University’s technology infrastructure: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Admin Banner, BDM, SSB8, Self Service 9, our custom web applications, and all other systems reliant upon the database will not be available during this time. There will be no impact to other systems such as: University networks, phone systems, main websites, Brightspace, Office 365, email services, video surveillance systems, electronic door access, and the application for admission.

From 11 PM the night of Friday, August 9th to 2 AM the morning of Saturday, August 10 university networks will undergo planned maintenance. Users of university networks should expect the following impacts: During the maintenance window on-campus users may experience two or three short, less than one minute, internet outages. Campus VPN services may be intermittently unavailable for one or two periods of up to 30 minutes.

On Sunday, May 26, 2024, several university systems will be down for scheduled maintenance: 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM - Services that rely on university data centers will be unavailable do to a network upgrade. These include university websites, the My Missouri State portal, Blackboard Learn, and VPN services. 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM - Occasional interruption to services like file and print servers should be expected during this time as servers are moved between university data centers. 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM - On-campus wi-fi services will be upgraded and intermittently unavailable.
