IMPORTANT UPDATE‼️🚨

Due to the blizzard affecting the east coast, Mr. Gordon’s travel to Springfield has been delayed.

We are eagerly awaiting Mr. Gordon’s arrival this Wednesday evening! You won’t want to miss watching him work with our students, even if the schedule is a bit different than we anticipated.

The MSU Opera Theater is thrilled to announce that renowned American composer Ricky Ian Gordon will be joining us for a residency February 25-27 as our students prepare to perform the conconcertized version of his 2007 opera, The Grapes of Wrath! We invite you to participate in this residency by observing his work with our students during coachings, masterclasses, and a culminating recital featuring selections from his art song repertoire. One little maid... two little maids... three little maids! Our next scene is from one of Gilbert and Sullivan's most famous operas, "The Mikado." Senior, Ashlee Martin is joined by Sophomore, Ella Greniger and Junior, Allison Britt in Opera's iconic trio, "Three Little Maids."
