A special shoutout out to our racer .baker for being the first one to compete in all 5 disciplines at each of their respective national championships in one school year.

This takes a lot of hard work in order to focus on each discipline and to be training year round. Congrats on all of your hard work Ajay!

Wow! What an incredible week in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The team finished up their season competing in the TTT, Crit, and road race this past weekend at USA Cyclings road nationals giving it all they had for one last dance. A huge shoutout to all the racers who competed this weekend on behalf of Lindenwood, we are so incredibly proud ofd the hard work you have put in.

Since this is our last time all together, we just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us in the past and present. We wouldn’t be here without your help. Much of the team is transferring in order to live their cycling dreams, and although this is sad for everyone, we will continue to cheer them on, because after all, once a lion, always a lion.

Thank you to all the photographers, specifically for getting some awesome pics of us!

Our third, and last but not least, is Dillon Geary! Dillon has been on the team for 3 years, and is majoring in computer science with a minor in mathematics. He doesn’t have a specific favorite memory with the team per se, but overall enjoyed the time he’s had with everyone no matter the discipline. He races track and road, and a collegiate highlight was winning 2x national track titles. At the end of the day he says “I can’t even remember what raced I placed well in, etc, but I can remember all the great memories I made on these trips”. Dillon, congratulations and we can’t wait to see what you do next!

What. A. Weekend. Words cannot begin to describe how hard this team has worked, and how far it has paid off. From being told we were cut in December, to making it one of the best road seasons yet, proud is a very far understatement. Incredibly impressed with the grace & growth in everyone this semester & we are so excited to see where everyone goes and does from here. Our home race was a success thanks to many many people, especially & we couldn’t do anything without you guys.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported this weekend, we couldn’t be more grateful to have one last race together as a big family. Thank you for your continued support.

The teams race results & podiums will be posted on the story soon💛🖤

Our second is Asa Black! Asa has been on the team for 3 years, studying Business Economics. He races Road, Mountain bike, and track. His favorite team memory is mountain bike nations in 2022 and 2023, he especially loved racing downhill in the mud at Ride Rock this year, but he says he fell in love with mountain biking at these two events. His collegiate highlights are winning Forest Park Tour of St. Louis twice in a row, winning the Marian crit against some stacked teams in 2023, and most important to him, placing 10th in the omnium at mountain bike nationals this past season. A piece of advice he has for underclassmen is to “work hard at your disciplines. You will probably never have this much time and flexibility to train again. Make it count and see where you end up. Of course, have lots of fun along the way and cherish all the memories”. Post graduation from LU, he will be attending Milligan to pursue a MBA and continue to race a collegiately. “I’m extremely excited to move down south and explore the incredible riding they have down there”. Congrats Asa, and we’re super excited to see you do great things!
