Greetings,
We have landed upon another day for Thanksgiving and been blessed to have a day set aside for those days of thanksgiving. In the United States of America "Thanksgiving is modeled on a 1621 harvest feast shared by the English colonists (Pilgrims). No problem with the mode for the Bible teaches us all to always give thanks.
One of my favorite reminders bible verse states it clear "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to GOD and the Father by him." (see Colossians 3:17 (KJV)). The center of my heart is giving thank to you for your love, friendship and most of some of your prayers.
As we sit down and eat to give thanks let us remember that there are those with no family, friends or love ones. Families that are in bereavement for someone has passed. Remember the sick that could be bond in a wheelchair or homeless people with no food tonight and cold. Then look back at your tables, homes, family members and see what a grateful day set aside for us to give thanks and the soul reason for today.
