YCC had a great time participating in an outreach event, leading a STEM station, with 300 3rd-5th graders at St Louis Public School Day Camp at Beaumont Scout Reservation. We had a lot of fun performing the disappearing cup, reactivity and elephant toothpaste demos.

The ACS Younger Chemists Committee is partnering with this year's Saint Louis Public School Day Camp at Beaumont Scout Reservation to perform hands-on STEM demonstrations for elementary school students. The Day Camp will be held on June 29, 2018, and the YCC team will lead activities from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm [lunch will be included for volunteers]. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity for STEM outreach in our St. Louis community, please contact Tabbetha Bohac ([email protected]) by Monday, June 25.
