This week we get to hear from Sophomore, Kristie An on her recruitment experience and why she went Gamma Phi! Here is what she says, "I was extremely nervous and unsure of what to expect going into recruitment, but when it came to Gamma Phi Beta, I found genuine connections with girls who radiate confidence and make it a goal to consistently lift each other up. I am so lucky to have found such an amazing and supportive group of girls that I get to call sisters!"

We feel so lucky to call Kristie a sister and love that she was able to make such strong connections during recruitment. We hope to make the same strong connections with PNMS during recruitment this year! Only 1 more day ladies!

This week we hear from a sister who always has us laughing, Junior, Haley Baker! This is what she said about rushing Gamma Phi Beta during recruitment, "The reason I joined Gamma Phi Beta was because I felt an instant connection during recruitment through the conversations I had and the values I shared with the sorority. Gamma Phi's focus on building strong girls has been incredibly impactful, and everyone in the sorority works toward this goal by supporting each other in every way we can! I love how each person is encouraged to show their true unique self without fear of judgement. Being a part of Gamma Phi has helped me build my own confidence and has inspired me to help others do the same!"

Thanks for sharing Haley, we are so happy to be reunited with you on campus❤️ We encourage YOU to and find a group of girls that share your values!

Junior, Makenna Berry wanted to give a shoutout to her big, Senior, Hannah Theodore today! She says, "I'd like to give a shoutout to my Big Hanna Theodore is really the definition of a true and constant friend. She is someone I can always count on for advice & without her I’m not sure how id get through nursing (& my littles Shannon & Anna really make my heart go ❤️)"

We adore this cute little family and their special bond. to find your home and a family of your own!!

This week we are hearing from Junior, Cassie Grunhard on her recruitment experience and how she found her home in Gamma Phi Beta! Cassie says, "My first year at SLU was great and all, I started nursing school and was swimming at the college level but I felt like something was missing. I heard joining a sorority was a great way to meet new people and I decided why not add another activity to my already busy plate! I went through recruitment as a sophomore which at first felt a little different, but I realized how open-minded all the sororities were, not only to me being a sophomore but also being an athlete. Once I became a part of Gamma Phi Beta, I immediately knew this was what I was missing my freshman year! For the PNMs, one piece of advice I can give is to get involved in as many activities or clubs you think you can handle. College is the place to make memories that will last forever! I have made great memories with my sisters and I hope that you will too! We hope you find your home in one of our amazing sororities at SLU!"

We are so glad Cassie decided to and love having her as a sister. We hope that the upcoming PNMs get to have the same experience in finding their homes. Mark your calendars ladies, only 15 more days until recruitment!

Happy Tuesday! We are so excited to be back on campus (even if things look a little different this year). One of the things we look forward to the most being back on campus is seeing our amazing sisters such as Sophomore, Danielle Taylor. We asked Danielle her favorite GPhi memory so far and here is what she had to say! She says, "My favorite Gamma Phi memory was the sisterhood at the trampoline park! I got really close with my best friend Tara and had a lot of fun with my sisters! Gamma Phi Beta has helped me become more confident and gave me friends for life."

Even though making memories might not exactly be the same due to the current circumstances, we still know we will have the BEST year with our sisters by our side!

Today we are highlighting Sophomore, Jennaka Cain! We asked her what she loves the most about Gamma Phi Beta and this is what she had to say, "What I love most about Gamma Phi Beta is how I’m constantly surrounded by strong, confident women that are continuously supporting each other and building each other up. I have learned and grown so much through this chapter and I can’t wait to be back and see all of my beautiful sisters on campus! I’m so happy to have found my home away from home and I couldn’t be more thankful for Gamma Phi!!"

We love our sweet Jennaka and cannot wait to see her again in less than a month! Let the countdown begin 🎉

This week our sister Caroline Goff (Senior) wanted to give a special shoutout to Olivia Poholik (Senior) for all that she does! Here is what Caroline had to say, "I want to shout out the best little and co-philanthropy chair ever! We were able to work together on Spring Philanthropy Week—and had such amazing plans—before the coronavirus shut down. She is such an amazing friend and partner in crime. She’s hardworking and caring, never letting any of her friends or sisters down. Thank you Liv for all that you are to me and I can’t wait to kill Fall Philanthropy with you!!"

Thank you both for working so hard to make our philanthropy weeks what they are! We can't wait to see what you have planned for this Fall - See you soon ❤️

Raise your hand if you miss your GPHI sisters! We know we definitely miss seeing Chloe's smiling face everyday. Although we can't physically be together in St. Louis, the important thing is that we are doing our part of staying inside to prevent any spread of COVID-19. We are doing our best to stay healthy and look forward to the day that we can all be together again! Tag some sisters you miss below in the comments!

Meet The Officer Monday! This Monday we get to meet our New Member Educator, Elle Cuba! As New Member Educator Elle has the responsibility of meeting with the new members each week to teach them all things Gamma Phi Beta. She also helps plan fun things such as bid day, big/little reveal, and gamma girlfriends! When we asked Elle what she looks forward to the most about this year she said, "I literally CANNOT WAIT to meet all of the amazing new members we will be getting next year!" Thanks for all you do to make your sisters feel welcomed and included Elle! We LOVE you
