Hello all, the WashU undergrad African Student Association(ASA) is hosting its annual fashion show and cultural exposition tomorrow (Friday) evening in the DUC Tisch Commons at 7 pm. The models will be walking in several African pieces representative of the modern-day chic styles. There will also be performances by Pinx Academy of Dance with a stiltwalker. This event is free and open to the public.

Have you always wanted to watch an African movie? Well here is your chance! Brown School African Students Assc. invites you to our social event: "IrokoTV & Chill" :). Did you know Nollywood, which is the Nigerian movie industry-is the 2nd largest (tied with Bollywood) movie industry in the world? Come end your week on a good note while enjoying a nice movie, African food, music and fun with BSASA. Tomorrow, Friday at 5:30 PM: Goldfarb Hall Commons & G-132 (listen for the music/movie).

Black Anthology: The Six is happening tonight and tomorrow at 7pm in Edison Theatre. Please lend your support if possible to the undergrad Black student group. Tickets are 10.00 w/ wustl id.

I believe it will be a great investment of your precious--always fleeting graduate student time! Catch the pre-show at 6:30pm, if you cannot attend the entire show.

Good Morning BGC Members!!!

BGC will be volunteering for the Sista Strut Breast Cancer Walk on October 5, 2013.

BGC will be helping participants with registration for the event. The shift will start at 7am and end at 11 am. We will meet at 6:45am in front of Brookings Hall and walk over. You can park on campus.

The Breast Cancer Walk will start in front of the Missouri History Museum in
Forest Park. The rally is 8am-10am and the walk is from 10am- 12pm.

Great event to come mix and mingle with graduate students as well as faculty of color in other departments. Refreshments will be provided.
