We were honored to celebrate nursing excellence at the 17th Annual Excellence in Nursing Awards, hosted by St. Louis Magazine and proudly sponsored by BJC HealthCare and Goldfarb School of Nursing.

We loved welcoming 56 future nurses to last weekend's Goldfarb open house! 👋

Guests had the opportunity to tour campus, explore our simulation and skills labs, connect with current students and faculty, and learn more about the programs and support that make the Goldfarb experience unique.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and spent the day getting to know our community. We enjoyed meeting you and are excited to see where your journey in health care leads next!

It's here—welcome to the start of the summer term at Goldfarb!

To all new and returning nursing students: Congratulations on taking another step toward an incredible career in health care. Nursing school is challenging, but it is also rewarding and life-changing.

A few tips for success this term:

✨ Stay organized and use a planner/calendar
✨ Don’t wait until the last minute to study
✨ Ask questions and use your resources
✨ Form study groups and support each other
✨ Take care of yourself—sleep, eat, and recharge
✨ Remember your “why” on the hard days

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, and at Goldfarb, we're committed to supporting the mental health of our community year-round. 🫂

As the first college of nursing to introduce a resident mental health support animal, Mr. Barnes, we understand the importance of supportive environments and preparing future nurses through compassionate, evidence-based education driving clinical excellence and long-term resilience," says college president Dr. Clark. She adds:

The PMHNP program provides advanced expertise in the diagnosis and management of psychiatric patients. Students will master both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.

We're thrilled to expand our advanced degree pathways to include three new PMHNP tracks to help prepare more nurses to make a meaningful difference in our communities and beyond.
