One Final Cheer 💙💛
For over a decade, we’ve stood on sidelines, gym floors and soccer fields; cheering with everything we had. Not because we were paid, but because we loved it. Because this team was more than just a sport, it was our home.
We didn’t wear the uniform for scholarships or credit hours. We did it for passion. For each other. For the pride of calling ourselves Gorloks.
This week, we say goodbye to the cheerleading program at Webster University. And with that goodbye, we feel like we’re losing a piece of our heart, our identity, and our community.
To the teams we lifted up with our voices and to the fans who lifted us right back: thank you. You were part of something we’ll carry forever.
This team gave us more than we ever imagined. Too many life lessons to name. Too many memories to count. But if we leave you with anything, let it be this:
Always cheer loud for the things and people you love.
Because that’s what we did. Every game. Every practice. Every moment.
And as always…
