If you know a veteran or veterans who are at risk, please consider contacting Missouri Veterans Endeavor to help them secure housing.

As of September 2023, there are over 200 Veterans experiencing homelessness in the St. Louis region. Here at MOVE, we believe that's over 200 too many. This does not take into account the tens of thousands of Veterans experiencing homelessness nationwide. MOVE's mission is to help end the cycle of homelessness for as many Veterans as possible with our long-term supportive housing and clinical case management program. To learn more about how you can help us help those who served, please visit our website at www.move-stl.org.

In an effort to assist Veterans and their families dealing with food insecurities, The Kaufman Fund in conjunction with Operation Food Search is having a Food 4 Vets food giveaway event. It will be held on Friday, Sept 24, 2021.

The drive-through distribution will occur between 9:00am and noon. Veterans can register for the food pickup by visiting The Kaufman Fund website (link below). Veterans without internet access can call Ken Weintraub at 314-680-2905. He can help complete the registration form if needed. A surrogate can also assist veterans in completing their registration if necessary.

TKF Supporters:

Please help to get the word out, refer and/or register veterans for the next Food Drive to be held on Friday September 24, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Operation Food Search in Overland, Mo.

Many times, Veterans will refuse assistance thinking that others could be "worse off" or that they perhaps "don't deserve it".
This, our largest event to date, is specifically for Veterans and we'd like to "sell out" and help a full 255 Veterans/families with this event.
Share with families, share on your social media and help us find Veterans and their families that we can help. Even if you know of a Veteran that could be helped who won't sign-up themselves, please register and get the food to a Vet or their family who could use the food/resources.
A surrogate can register for the veteran, and can pick up food on September 24 for the veteran, if the veteran cannot drive to Operation Food Search.
