Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed in defense of our great nation. On behalf of Southgate Lodge No. 6, F. & A.M., we extend heartfelt gratitude to all Veterans for their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to freedom.

We also extend special recognition to the Veterans throughout the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Wisconsin, Inc. Your service to our country and continued dedication within our Masonic jurisdiction exemplify the highest principles of Freemasonry — Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

Your example reminds us that service, whether to country or community, is both an honor and a duty.

Southgate Lodge No. 6, in partnership with Badger Chapter No. 5, Order of the Eastern Star, will be distributing free food baskets to the community on Sunday, November 9, beginning at 1:00 PM and continuing until supplies run out.

We will also be accepting food and non-perishable donations for local families on Saturday, November 8, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

During this challenging time, as many families are affected by the suspension of SNAP benefits, Southgate Lodge and Badge Chapter are coming together to lend a helping hand. Our goal is to make sure no family in our community goes without the essentials they need.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to serve, uplift, and strengthen our community.

SouthGate Lodge No. 6 proudly celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons State of Wisconsin, Incorporated.

For a full century, this Grand Lodge has stood as a pillar of strength, wisdom, and unity — guiding generations of Brothers as we work to uplift our communities, support our cities, and serve the great state of Wisconsin.

This milestone reminds us of the journey it took to get here — the sacrifices made, the lessons passed down, and the unwavering commitment to truth, justice, and brotherly love.

As we honor this centennial, we rededicate ourselves to the mission that began in 1925: To be builders of men, protectors of legacy, and champions for our people.

Here’s to 100 years of Light — and to many more to come.
