The Teen Safe Summer Job Social Media Campaign has been postponed due to the focus on COVID-19. However, we have learned of the need for information sharing about training resources for educators who are engaging with students remotely and their parents. As a result, we are morphing the webpage ( KeepTeenWorkersSafe.org) into a resource page which includes;

· Links for youth related materials from:

o OSHA

o NIOSH

o Department of Labor

o National Safety Council

o Young Workers.org

o CPWR

o CareerSafe

· Links for COVID-19 information

Here are some tweets you can use to announce the campaign/materials:

Tweet 1:

Teens work in essential jobs too and all workers have the same right to a safe workplace. Encourage teens to use safe work practices for COVID-19 and to speak up about workplace hazards. www.KeepTeenWorkersSafe.org

Tweet 2:

COVID-19 has increased remote education. Use the educational resources and other materials at www.KeepTeenWorkersSafe.org to help teen workers learn more about staying safe on the job when they return to work.

Join OSHA, NIOSH, CareerSafe, and many others in promoting Young Worker Safety! Starting April 13th, spread the hashtag !
