Interested in auditioning for MBU Chamber Singers? Schedule a 15-minute time slot on Tuesday, April 16 or 21. Come prepared to sing a song of your choosing, preferably classical. If you do not have a classical styled song prepared, a style in that showcases your voice is also appropriate. Dr. Cox will accompany you with sheet music you provide or you can also bring a track to play from your phone. You will also be asked to sight read and perform some tonal memory exercises.

If auditioning is too much, but you would love to sing in choir, talk to your advisor about MBU Chorale which meets on MWF 1:00-1:55.

We had a wonderful evening together making beautiful music at the Bap! Chorale, Chamber Singers, and Choral Society sang American folk tunes, spirituals, hymns, and new compositions, and celebrated American composers and styles as we started getting our Britain tour lit off the ground!! Due to extreme weather conditions, the MBU Choral Society will postpone its first rehearsal to Monday, February 2 at 7 PM. Take an opportunity this week to listen to the practice tracks that were emailed out and/or listen to a full recording of parts two and three.
