Sisterhood, love and friendship. These are the words that come to mind when our members think of Zeta Tau Alpha. Although the ZTA experience begins in college, it extends far beyond four years. The ZTA experience is made up of many parts. Sisters are connected to a large network of over 235,000 women, which provides countless opportunities. The bonds of friendship that are formed in both collegiat
e and alumnae chapters last a lifetime. Women develop leadership skills by taking on responsibility both within ZTA and in their communities. The Fraternity and ZTA Foundation support membersโ growth through educational programming and opportunities to serve others and promote breast cancer education and awareness. Members of ZTA are encouraged to follow their passion, and their sisters are there to support those goals. The sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha show a passion for our philanthropy Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, so this cause is personal. Breast cancer touches many lives. Through local and national partnerships, campus and community initiatives, and the distribution of millions of pink ribbons since 1992, ZTA collegiate and alumnae members are dedicated to our philanthropy. By spreading the message of breast cancer education and awareness, ZTA sisters are determined to diminish this disease. Each Zeta Tau Alpha collegiate and alumnae chapter supports our national philanthropy, breast cancer education and awareness, and the ZTA Foundation. Each chapter also identifies opportunities to meet community needs through local service projects. The Theta Kappa chapter is dedicated to providing service to Saint Louis and the surrounding communities. Service is integral of the ZTA experience. The Creed of Zeta Tau Alpha asks members to โthink in terms of all mankind and our service in the world.โ Zetas serve their communities in a variety of ways, including volunteering at a childcare center or a senior living community, clearing trash from local roads or streams, or walking dogs at an animal shelter. Our sisters serve to make a positive difference. For more information on Zeta Tau Alpha- Theta Kappa, go to our website below.
