WashU SigEp A college fraternity with over 15,000 undergraduates at 228 chapters across the U.S. We are Building Balanced Men. www.sigep.org on November 1, 1901.

Sigma Phi Epsilon is a college fraternity with chapters on 228 campuses nationwide. SigEp has over 15,000 undergraduates, the most of any national fraternity. More than 318,000 men have joined SigEp since its founding in Richmond, Va. It’s no secret that SigEp is here to make men better men – Balanced Men. So what exactly do we mean? We believe that shared experiences and continual growth of our m

inds and bodies help us live the best life. SigEp has many experiences you will not find in any other student organization on campus. Explore the ruins of Athens on the Quest to Greece, challenge your mind with a Faculty Fellow who has an office in your chapter house, meet SigEps from other campuses, and learn how the Fraternity prepares you for life by attending EDGE. From our award-winning Leadership Continuum to the philosophy behind Sound Mind and Sound Body, Sigma Phi Epsilon is “Building Balanced Men.”

Sigma Phi Epsilon believes in the idea of always improving yourself. One of the many ways brothers act on this idea is by attending leadership seminars.

This weekend all of the executive board along with other brothers and alumni attended the Carlson Leadership Academy (CLA) where they met and networked with hundreds of brothers from schools in the Midwest. Over the course of the CLA, brothers attended seminars focused to strengthen leadership skills.

Each executive board members went to seminars specifically designed to bolster the skills necessitated by their respective positions. From a new chapter website to new recruitment skills there was a plethora of knowledge acquired. All brothers left the program with a new found determination, strengthened abilities, and a focused goal to improve the Missouri Beta chapter at WashU. Brother Trace Demarest: "This summer, I am working in the Public Affairs section of the US Consulate General in Milan, Italy. My main jobs are to update the consulate social media platforms (in both English and Italian), to help host speakers from all over the world (we have been super busy as a result of the recent G7 and Trump's first international visit), and to work in social justice events (specifically Refugee Welcome Italia and MilanoPride). We are now gearing up for our major Independence Day celebration that will take place in early July, in which we invite several of the most prominent Northern Italian government officials and colleagues to a major 4th of July celebration. I have really been enjoying my time at the consulate and Italy in general, and look forward to taking the experiences that I have had and building off them in the future!"
