Innovation was on full display at the Harris-Stowe State University STEM Achievers Showcase!

Our talented middle school scholars demonstrated the skills they've developed throughout the program by presenting their 3D-printed designs, coding projects, robotics creations, and immersive AR/VR experiences. From solving real-world problems to bringing creative ideas to life through technology, these students showcased what the future of STEM looks like.

At the 2026 Harris-Stowe State University Presidential Leadership Retreat, we were challenged to think differently about what leadership looks like in higher education.

Through a powerful presentation by Orvin T. Kimbrough, attendees explored the role of human potential, belonging, and student-centered leadership, with a simple but powerful charge: "Be who they need."

As we prepare for the year ahead, we remain committed to creating an environment where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed. Because retention is everybody’s responsibility, and belonging is everybody’s work.
