How does school segregation impact achievement gaps? A new paper by Kaylee T. Matheny, Marissa E. Thompson, Carrie Townley Flores, and sean f. reardon shows that, “White-Black achievement gaps grow fastest where school segregation increases fastest, suggesting that segregation exacerbates academic inequality.” See the new data discovery on the EOP website at: https://edopportunity.org/discoveries/segregation-leads-to-inequality/
